Virtues & Benefits
This dua encapsulates three crucial aspects of a believer's life. 'Beneficial knowledge' refers to knowledge that draws you closer to Allah, guides you to righteous actions, and protects you from misguidance. 'Good provision' encompasses lawful and pure sustenance that supports your well-being and ability to worship. 'Acceptable deeds' are those acts of worship and good works that are done sincerely for Allah's sake and in accordance with His commands, leading to spiritual growth and reward. By asking for all three, we seek a holistic approach to pleasing Allah, ensuring our efforts in seeking knowledge are not in vain but lead to tangible good in this life and the next. The Prophet's ﷺ consistent practice of this dua underscores its immense importance in seeking Allah's guidance and acceptance.
