Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet ﷺ said: 'There is no one who is more patient in bearing difficulties, more fulfilling in his response, more knowledgeable about the rights of his Lord, more steadfast in his kindness, or more severe in his reproach than Yusuf (peace be upon him).' Then he said: 'O Allah, benefit me from what You have taught me, and teach me what will benefit me, and increase me in knowledge.' Then he said: 'By Allah, the knowledge that benefits is only that which is learned in childhood from the father, and from the teacher, and from the mother, and from that which is written down.'
