اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ حَجًّا مَبْرُورًا وَ سَعْيًا مَشْكُورًا وَ ذَنْبًا مَغْفُورًا

O Allah, make it a Hajj accepted (Mabroor), efforts rewarded (Mashkoor), and sins forgiven (Maghfoor).

Allahumma-j'alhu hajjan mabrooran wa sa'yan mashkooran wa dhanban maghfooran

When to Read

This dua is perfect to recite after you have completed your sacrifice at Mina, or just before, as a way of reflecting on the immense act of devotion you are performing. It can also be recited during your stay in Mina, contemplating the deeper meanings of the pilgrimage.

How to Read

Recite this dua with sincere intention and a humble heart. Imagine the profound sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and the obedience of Prophet Ismail (peace be upon him). Reflect on how your own sacrifice is a symbol of dedicating yourself entirely to Allah. It's best recited after offering your sacrifice or while performing the rituals in Mina, with a quiet reflection on its spiritual significance.

Virtues & Benefits

Reciting this dua after your sacrifice embodies the very essence of Hajj: seeking acceptance from Allah, ensuring your efforts are acknowledged, and aiming for complete forgiveness. It shifts the focus from the physical act to its spiritual fruits, a key aspect of a truly meaningful pilgrimage. It reminds us that the sacrifice is not merely a ritual but a profound spiritual purification and a demonstration of ultimate servitude.
