Virtues & Benefits
Seeking Allah's acceptance for any act of worship is crucial. This specific dua, taught by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ for his own sacrifice, highlights the importance of asking for divine approval. It reminds us that our sacrifices are not merely physical acts but spiritual submissions, and their value lies in Allah's acceptance.

Anas reported that the Prophet, Allah bless him and give him peace, sacrificed two horned rams which were white with black markings. He slaughtered them with his own hands and said: 'Bismillah, Allahu Akbar (In the name of Allah, Allah is the Greatest). O Allah, accept from Muhammad and his family and from anyone who testifies to your Oneness and from anyone who testifies that I am your messenger.' And he accepted from the Muslims.
