All praise is due to Allah, [praise] abundant, pure, and blessed, not to be [met with] inadequacy, nor to be taken leave of, nor to be dispensed with, our Lord.
Al-hamdu lillahi hamdan katheeran tayyiban mubarakan feehi ghayra makfiyyin wa la mawadda'in wa la mustaghnan 'anhu Rabbana.

Virtues & Benefits
Expressing sincere gratitude after Hajj or Umrah is a powerful way to acknowledge Allah's favor and ensure the acceptance of your deeds. This specific phrasing, taught by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, encompasses a comprehensive praise of Allah, recognizing His sufficiency, His enduring presence, and our constant need for Him. Such gratitude strengthens the bond between the servant and the Master, paving the way for continued blessings and acceptance of prayers. It reminds us that the journey itself is a gift, and its completion a sign of His mercy. The Prophet ﷺ's own practice highlights the importance of recognizing blessings and praising Allah for them.

Narrated By Aisha: When the Prophet (ﷺ) returned from a journey and saw the high places of Medina, he would make his camel move fast, and if it was the journey of Asr (i.e. the journey from Mina to Mecca), he would put on his she-camel its cover, and when he stayed at Mina, he would lead the prayer. When he returned (to Medina) and saw the walls of Medina, he would turn his face towards it at night and day. And when he saw the mount of Uhud, he would say, 'This is a mount that loves us or is loved by us.' When he returned (from a journey) after the duration of the prayer, he would go directly to the mosque and pray two rak'at there and the people would leave him alone. And when the Prophet (ﷺ) returned on a Friday, he would pray it (Jumu'ah prayer) in the mosque. Ayibuna, ta'ibuna, 'abiduna, li-Rabbina hamidun. Sadaqallah wa'dahu, wa nasara 'abdahu, wa hazama al-ahzaba wahdahu.' (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, Who has no partner. To Him belongs sovereignty and to Him belongs all the praise, and He is Able to do all things. We return with repentance, worshipping, and praising our Lord. Allah fulfilled His promise and helped His slave and defeated the confederates single-handedly.) Then he would say: 'Al-hamdu lillahi hamdan katheeran tayyiban mubarakan feehi, ghayra makfiyyin wa la mawadda'in wa la mustaghnan 'anhu Rabbana.'
