Ibn Jarir narrated from Ibrahim bin Abi Bakr who said: I heard Tawus narrating from Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The prayer in my Masjid is a thousand times better than a prayer in other than it, except for Al-Masjid Al-Haram. And a prayer in Al-Masjid Al-Haram is a hundred thousand times better than a prayer in other than it.' Then Ibn 'Abbas recited: 'O Allah, increase this House in honor, nobility, glory, and piety. And increase those who have honored, ennobled, and glorified it – those who have performed Hajj and Umrah to it – in honor, nobility, glory, and piety.'
