O Allah, verily the House is Your House, the sanctuary is Your sanctuary, security is Your security, and the servant is Your servant. I have come to You with mercy from You. Protect me with Your protection, make my deeds perfect for me, make me pleased with Your decree, and bless me in my household. O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your decree concerning me is inevitable, and Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, the light of my breast, the banisher of my grief, and the dispeller of my worries.
Allahumma innal-bayta baytuka, wal-harama haramuka, wal-amna am-nuka, wal-'abda 'abdunka, ji'tuka bi-rahmatin min 'indika, wa-hfazni bi-hifzika, wa-atiqinna li 'amali, wa-ardini bi-qada'ika, wa-barik li fi bayti. Allahumma inni 'abdunka, wa-bnu 'abdika, wa-bnu amatik, nasiyati bi-yadika, laylun yaseerun fiyya qada'uka, 'adlun fiyya hukmuka, as'aluka bi-kulli ismin huwa laka, sammayta bihi nafsaka, aw anzaltahu fi kitฤbika, aw 'allamtahu ahadan min khalqika, aw ista'tharta bihi fi 'ilmil-ghaybi 'indaka, an taj'alal-Qur'ana rabi'a qalbi, wa-nura sadri, wa-jala'a huzni, wa-dhahaba hammi.
