Source & Authentication

Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say often: 'O Turner of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion.' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we believed in you and what you brought. Do you fear for us?' He said: 'Yes, for the hearts are between the fingers of the Merciful, and He turns them (as He wills).'
