يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ

O Turner of the hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion.

Ya muqallibal-qulubi, thabbit qalbi 'ala dinik.

‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr bin Al-‘As narrated that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'Verily, the hearts of all humankind are between the two fingers of the Most Merciful, like one heart. He directs them however He wills.' Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'O Allah, Controller of the hearts, keep our hearts firm upon Your religion.'
