Narrated Abu Huraira: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "He who believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his guest." And Abu Huraira added: "O Allah's Messenger! What is the minimum degree of this?" He said: "A day and a night. Hospitality is for a day and a night, and it is not permissible for him to stay (with his host) to the extent that it causes him hardship. It is not permissible for a guest to stay with his host for so long that he puts him in a difficult position." (The narrator then mentioned the dua) and it is not permissible for him to stay with him to the extent that he causes him hardship. And Abu Huraira narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he happened to be with a people, used to say: 'O Allah, bless them in what You have provided them, forgive them and have mercy upon them.'
