O Allah, suffice me against them with what You will.

Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) passed by some people who were with a boy who was being marked with an iron. He said: 'O Allah, spare him.' Then he passed by them on another day and they were burning him with an iron. He said: 'O Allah, spare him.' Then he passed by them on a third day and they were burning him with an iron. He said: 'O Allah, spare him.' Then he said: 'If you (i.e. the Muslims) kill him, you will kill him like his predecessors who killed him. Allah will not punish you for it. And if you spare him, you will spare him as Allah spared him.' So the people let him go. The Prophet (peace be upon him) then said to him: 'O Allah, suffice me against them with what You will.' So they let him go. And Allah suffices him.
