O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds and abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor. I ask You to forgive me and have mercy on me. And when You intend to test Your creation, take me to Yourself without my being tested. And I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.
Allahumma inni as'aluka fi'la khayrat, wa tark al-munkarat, wa hubb al-masakin, wa an taghfir li, wa tarhamani, wa idha aradta fi khalqika fitnatan fa tawaffani ilayha ghayra maftun. Wa as'aluka hubbak, wa hubba man yuhibbuk, wa hubba 'amalin yuqarribuni ila hubbik.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught me a comprehensive supplication for every need. He said: 'O Allah, I ask You for the guide to do good deeds, to abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor. I ask You to forgive me and have mercy on me. And when You intend to test Your creation, take me to Yourself without my being tested. And I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.' He said: 'This is a supplication I ask for myself.'
