O Allah, guide me in it (this day) to that which pleases You, do not let me go astray, do not make me miserable, and keep me away from Your displeasure, by Your grace, O Ultimate Goal of those who desire.

When seeking a life partner, this dua specifically asks Allah to lead you towards what is pleasing to Him, ensuring that your choice will lead to happiness in this life and the next, rather than misery or His displeasure. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to rely on Allah for all matters, especially those as significant as marriage, which is half of our faith.
