O Allah, indeed I am Your slave, son of Your slave, son of Your female slave. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is effective. Your judgment concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which You possess, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the remover of my grief, and the banisher of my worries. Utter the words with sincerity, focusing on the meanings of each attribute of Allah you invoke and each request you make. Raise your hands, as is customary when making supplication, and maintain a hopeful yet submissive posture. Ensure you are in a state of purity if possible, though the sincerity of your heart is paramount. Repeating the section that appeals to Allah by His names is a powerful way to emphasize your reliance on His boundless attributes.

It asks for the Qur'an to be your ultimate guide to Jannah and your protection from the Hellfire, encompassing both worldly solace and eternal salvation. The repetition emphasizes the completeness of the requests and the totality of one's reliance on Allah.
