O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and the evil of my sight, and the evil of my tongue, and the evil of my heart, and the evil of my semen.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min sharri sam'i, wa min sharri basari, wa min sharri lisani, wa min sharri qalbi, wa min sharri maniyyi.

This dua offers comprehensive protection. By seeking refuge in Allah from the evil of our senses and heart, we actively work to guard ourselves against sin. The 'evil of my sight' directly addresses the issue of looking at impermissible things. It's not just a prayer for forgiveness after the act, but a shield to prevent it. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself would make this dua, indicating its immense importance in maintaining spiritual well-being and purity.
