This powerful supplication, taught by our beloved Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ, offers comprehensive protection. By invoking Allah's name, we declare our absolute reliance on Him, the source of all power and safety. The hadith states that whoever recites this three times in the morning will not be afflicted by any sudden calamity until the evening, and whoever recites it three times in the evening will not be afflicted by any calamity until the morning (Sunan Abi Dawud 3865). This protection extends to all forms of harm, including the spiritual and emotional damage caused by malicious gossip and rumors, which are effectively a form of the evil eye, poisoning hearts and minds.

Narrated by Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "There is no servant who says in the morning of every day and in the evening of every night: 'Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma'asmihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa huwas-Sami'ul-'Aleem' (In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing can harm on earth nor in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing) - three times - except that nothing will harm him." (Sunan Abi Dawud 3865, graded Sahih by Al-Albani)
