A'udhu bikalimatillahit-tammati min ghadabihi wa 'iqabihi, wa min sharri 'ibadihi, wa min hamazatish-shayateeni wa an yahdurun.

Abdullah ibn Khubayb narrated: We went out with the Messenger of Allah ๏ทบ on a dark and rainy night, and we called him to pray for us. He said: 'I prayed for you.' Then he said: 'It is not correct to say: I prayed for you. Rather, say: Allah prayed for you.' Then he said: 'In the morning, say: ุฃูุนููุฐู ุจูููููู ูุงุชู ุงูููููู ุงูุชููุงู ููุงุชู ู ููู ุบูุถูุจููู ููุนูููุงุจูููุ ููู ููู ุดูุฑูู ุนูุจูุงุฏูููุ ููู ููู ููู ูุฒูุงุชู ุงูุดููููุงุทูููู ููุฃููู ููุญูุถูุฑูููู. (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, and from the evil of His servants, and from the temptations of devils and from their presence.) For indeed, they will not harm you.' And Abdullah ibn Khubayb said: 'So 'Abdullah would receive them (these words) from the Messenger of Allah ๏ทบ and he would teach them to those of his family who had reached maturity and would recite them and teach them to the young among them.'
