بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

Narrated by Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'No servant says in the morning 'Bismillahilladhi la yadurru ma'asmihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa huwas-Samee'ul-Aleem' (In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in the heavens can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing), but that he will not be afflicted by sudden calamity until the evening comes, and no servant says it in the evening, but that he will not be afflicted by sudden calamity until the morning comes.'
