O Allah, I ask You for doing good deeds, and abandoning evil deeds, and loving the poor. And that You forgive me and have mercy on me. And when You intend to bring a trial upon Your creation, then take me to Yourself without subjecting me to it. And I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.

Virtues & Benefits
This comprehensive dua covers several crucial aspects of seeking Allah's pleasure. It asks for the ability to actively do good deeds ('fi'lal khayrat') and consciously refrain from wrongdoing ('tarkal munkarat'). It also includes humility and compassion by asking for the 'love of the poor' ('hubbal masakin'), recognizing their status with Allah. A significant part is seeking protection from trials ('fitnah') that can lead one astray, asking to be taken by death before being tested. Finally, it emphasizes the importance of cultivating a deep love for Allah, for those who love Him, and for actions that draw one nearer to Him, which is the ultimate goal of a believer.
