أَتُوبُ إِلَى اللَّهِ ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ وَخَيْرَ مَا فِيهَا ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ وَشَرِّ مَا فِيهَا ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الْكَسَلِ وَسُوءِ الْكِبَرِ ، ثَلاثًا
I turn to Allah in repentance. O Allah, I ask You for the good of this night and the good of what is in it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and the evil of what is in it, and I seek refuge in You from laziness and the evil of old age, three times.
A-tubu ila Allah, Allahumma inni as'aluka khaira hadhihi al-laylati wa khaira ma fiha, wa a'udhu bika min sharri hadhihi al-laylati wa sharri ma fiha, wa a'udhu bika min al-kasali wa su'i al-kibari, thalathan.

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Amr that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to return from the journey (or campaign) and the night came, he would say: 'A-tubu ila Allah, Allahumma inni as'aluka khaira hadhihi al-laylati wa khaira ma fiha, wa a'udhu bika min sharri hadhihi al-laylati wa sharri ma fiha, wa a'udhu bika min al-kasali wa su'i al-kibari, thalathan.'
