Virtues & Benefits

This supplication offers protection and a sense of peace. When you say this, it is said that a caller (from God) will announce: 'You are guided, defended and protected. Let none of the devils approach you.' This is because the devil is distanced from the one who says these words. It’s a profound reminder of our dependence on Allah and a shield against harm as we navigate our day.

Narrated Anas (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, 'When a person goes out of his house, he says: Bismillah, tawakkaltu 'alallah, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah. (In the name of Allah, I rely on Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah). Then it will be said to him: 'You are guided, defended and protected.'
