Narrated by Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him): I heard Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) say: 'Whoever says: 'Bismillahi alladhi la yadhurru ma'asmihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-samaa'i wa huwas-samee'ul-aleem' (In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in the heavens can cause harm, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing), three times in the morning, will not be afflicted by any calamity until the morning.
