O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the reversal of the well-being You granted, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that You are displeased with. I seek refuge in You from the anxiety of those who depart. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what You have created, brought forth, and formed. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what enters my belly, and from the evil of what is beneath my clothes, and from the evil of what I have declared openly, and from the evil of what I have concealed. I seek refuge in You from all evil. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the reversal of the well-being You granted, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that You are displeased with. I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow. I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness. I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess. I seek refuge in You from the overpowering of debt and the domination of men.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matik, wa tahawwuli 'afiyatik, wa fuji'ati niqmatik, wa jami'i sakhatik, wa a'udhu bika min qalaqil mufariqin, wa a'udhu bika min sharri ma khalaqta wa bara'ta wa sawwarta, wa a'udhu bika min sharri ma yudkhlu fi jawfi, wa min sharri ma tahta thiyabi, wa min sharri ma a'lantu, wa min sharri ma asrartu, wa a'udhu bika min kulli sharr. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matik, wa tahawwuli 'afiyatik, wa fuji'ati niqmatik, wa jami'i sakhatik, wa a'udhu bika minal hammi wal hazan, wa a'udhu bika minal 'ajzi wal kasali, wa a'udhu bika minal jubni wal bukhli, wa a'udhu bika min ghalabadid dayni wa qahrir rijal.

The Messenger of Allah (๏ทบ) used to teach his companions to seek refuge in Allah from the evil of the temptations which are seen and which are not seen. He would say: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matik, wa tahawwuli 'afiyatik, wa fuji'ati niqmatik, wa jami'i sakhatik, wa a'udhu bika min qalaqil mufariqin, wa a'udhu bika min sharri ma khalaqta wa bara'ta wa sawwarta, wa a'udhu bika min sharri ma yudkhlu fi jawfi, wa min sharri ma tahta thiyabi, wa min sharri ma a'lantu, wa min sharri ma asrartu, wa a'udhu bika min kulli sharr. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matik, wa tahawwuli 'afiyatik, wa fuji'ati niqmatik, wa jami'i sakhatik, wa a'udhu bika minal hammi wal hazan, wa a'udhu bika minal 'ajzi wal kasali, wa a'udhu bika minal jubni wal bukhli, wa a'udhu bika min ghalabadid dayni wa qahrir rijal.'
