اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
O Allah, help me to remember You, to give You thanks, and to worship You in the best way.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ passed by me while I was praying and writhing around. He said, 'O 'Aishah, if you experienced the agony of death, you would not do that. Pray the prayer of one who has bid farewell, and do not speak a word of speech. Then he said to me: 'O 'Aishah, say: O Allah, help me to remember You, and to give You thanks, and to worship You in the best way.' When I said this, my agony lessened. (Sunan Abi Dawud 1522). While the context of the hadith is about the agony of death, the dua itself is a general supplication for assistance in remembering, thanking, and worshipping Allah, applicable in all circumstances where one seeks divine help to do so effectively.
