Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: Allah has taken it upon Himself to help whoever says: حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ 'Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal wakeel' (Allah is sufficient for us and He is the best Disposer of affairs) when he was placed in the fire. And Allah said: 'O fire, be coolness and safety upon Ibrahim.' (21.69). Ibn 'Abbas also said: The last saying of Ibrahim (peace be upon him) when he was thrown into the fire was: حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ 'Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal wakeel' (Allah is sufficient for us and He is the best Disposer of affairs). And the last saying of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ when he was told: 'The people have gathered against you, so fear them;' but he said: حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ 'Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal wakeel' (Allah is sufficient for us and He is the best Disposer of affairs).
