Allah is sufficient for me. There is no god but He. I have placed my trust in Him, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne.
*Hasbiyallahu la ilaha illa Huwa; 'alayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Rabbul 'Arshil 'Adheem.*

Recite this powerful dua whenever you feel threatened by the ill intentions of others, whether it's through their words, actions, or even just their hateful gaze. It's particularly beneficial when facing deceit, backbiting, gossip, or any form of malice directed at you. Make it a habit to say it in the morning and evening for comprehensive protection.
How to Read
Recite this dua with sincere reliance on Allah alone. Understand that true sufficiency and protection come only from Him. Utter the words clearly and with conviction, picturing Allah's immense power and His ultimate control over all affairs. It is recommended to say it seven times in the morning and seven times in the evening for greater benefit, as taught to us by our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Virtues & Benefits
This dua is a shield against all harm and a declaration of complete trust in Allah. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this dua to his companion Abu ad-Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) when he was concerned about people plotting against him. Abu ad-Darda reported that whoever says this seven times in the morning or evening will be protected from all worldly distress and worries on the Day of Judgment. This highlights its immense power for both worldly and hereafter protection.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever says in the morning: 'Hasbiyallahu la ilaha illa Huwa; 'alayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Rabbul 'Arshil 'Adheem' (Allah is sufficient for me. There is no god but He. I have placed my trust in Him, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne), seven times, Allah will be sufficient for him against whatever worries him, whether he is a truthful believer or a disbeliever. And whoever says it in the evening, Allah will suffice him.' [Sahih al-Bukhari 7404]
