Dua for a Deceased Who Feared Allah's Judgment

Deceased
Sahih HadithSahih Muslim 963

O Allah, forgive him and have mercy upon him, grant him well-being and pardon him, honor his reception, make his entrance spacious, wash him with water, snow, and hail, cleanse him from sins as a white garment is cleansed from dirt, and give him a home better than his home, a family better than his family, and a spouse better than his spouse. Admit him to Paradise, and protect him from the punishment of the grave and the punishment of the Fire.

Source & Authentication

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'When you offer the funeral prayer over a dead person, say: O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, our present and absent, our young and old, our males and females. O Allah, whomsoever of us Thou keepest alive, let him keep Islam, and him whom Thou causest to die, let him die in faith. O Allah, do not forbid us from his reward and do not cause us to go astray after him.' And he also said: 'O Allah, forgive him and have mercy on him, grant him security and forgive his offenses, and honor his reception and make his grave spacious, and wash him with water and snow and hail, and cleanse him from sins as a white garment is cleansed from dirt, and give him in exchange a home better than his home, and a family better than his family, and grant him the good of the grave, and protection from the Fire.'
