اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ.
O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and make me independent by Your grace, so that I may not be in need of anyone other than You.
Allahumma akfini bihalalika 'an haramika, wa aghnini bifadlika 'amman siwaka.

Narrated by Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) that a slave who had agreed to earn his freedom came to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and said: 'I am unable to pay my 'manumission' money, so help me.' He ﷺ said: 'Shall I not teach you words that you should say, and if you owe the amount of a mountain, Allah would pay it for you?' He said: 'Yes, indeed.' He ﷺ said: 'Say: O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and make me independent by Your grace, so that I may not be in need of anyone other than You.'
