O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the subjugation of men.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazani, wa a'udhu bika minal-'ajzi wal-kasali, wa a'udhu bika minal-jubni wal-bukhli, wa a'udhu bika min ghalabatid-dayni wa qahrir-rijal

Make it a regular part of your supplications, especially after your obligatory prayers.
How to Read
Recite this dua with sincerity and conviction, understanding the meaning of each phrase. Raise your hands as you would in any other supplication, facing the Qiblah if possible, and with a humble heart. It's beautiful to repeat it multiple times, seeking Allah's refuge with earnestness.
Virtues & Benefits
This dua encompasses seeking refuge from several profound difficulties. By seeking protection from 'ghalabatid-dayn' (the overwhelming of debt), we ask Allah to ease our financial burdens and enable us to fulfill our obligations. The mention of 'qahrir-rijal' (the subjugation of men) also implies seeking protection from being indebted to people in a way that leads to humiliation or loss of dignity, and from their oppressive demands. It’s a comprehensive plea for freedom from the stress and hardship that debt can bring, both material and spiritual.
