اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and enrich me with Your grace, so that I may not need to ask anyone other than You.

Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that a Mukaatab (a slave who had agreed to pay a ransom to gain his freedom) came to him and said, 'I am unable to pay my ransom, so help me.' Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said, 'Shall I not teach you some words that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught me? If you say them, and you have a debt like the mountain of Sir, Allah will pay it off for you.' He said: 'O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and enrich me with Your grace, so that I may not need to ask anyone other than You.'
