اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and make me independent by Your grace of all apart from You.

It was narrated from Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man who had a written contract (for freeing a slave) came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: 'I am unable to pay for my freedom, so help me.' He said: 'Shall I not teach you words that would suffice you to pay your ransom, if you had the wealth of the entire world? Say: Allahumma ikfini bihalalika 'an haramik, wa aghnini bifadlika 'amman siwak.'
