اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَقَهْرِ الرِّجَالِ. اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and overcome by men. O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful (provision) instead of Your unlawful (provision), and enrich me with Your bounty so that I may not need anyone but You.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazani, wa a'udhu bika minal-'ajzi wal-kasali, wa a'udhu bika minal-jubni wal-bukhli, wa a'udhu bika min ghalabatid-dayni wa qahrir-rijali. Allahummakfini bihalalika 'an haramika, wa aghnini bifadlika 'amman siwaka.

Narrated Anas: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to say: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazani, wa a'udhu bika minal-'ajzi wal-kasali, wa a'udhu bika minal-jubni wal-bukhli, wa a'udhu bika min ghalabatid-dayni wa qahrir-rijali.' (Sahih al-Bukhari 6306). Another narration from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) states: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'One of you should say when morning comes: Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min al-hammi wa al-huzni, wa a'udhu bika min al-'ajzi wa al-kasali, wa a'udhu bika min al-jubni wa al-bukhl, wa a'udhu bika min ghalabati ad-dayni wa qahri ar-rijal.' And when evening comes, he should say the like of that.' (Sahih al-Bukhari 5077, the wording in the main entry is from 4423 which is slightly more concise and covers the core meaning). The Prophet (ﷺ) also said, 'O Allah, grant me enough lawful provision, avoiding what is unlawful, and grant me wealth by Your grace, so that I may not seek the help of anyone besides You.' (Sahih al-Bukhari 6306).
