‘Abdullah bin Khubaib narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Recite: Say: 'He is Allah, the One...' (Surah Al-Ikhlas) and the two 'Seekers of Refuge' (Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas) three times each in the morning and evening. It will suffice you against everything." Another narration states: The Prophet ﷺ said: "O Abdullah bin Khubaib, recite the chapter of Al-Ikhlas and the two Mu'awwidhatayn (Al-Falaq and An-Nas) in your hands three times each in the morning and the evening. It will be a protection for you from everything." Also, the Prophet ﷺ used to seek refuge for Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them) with these words: أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and every beast, and from every evil eye). Then he would say: "It was thus that Ibrahim (peace be upon him) used to seek refuge for Ishmael and Isaac (peace be upon them)." (Sahih Muslim 2710)
