When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) entered a town to which he intended to migrate, he would say: 'O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and what they have shaded, Lord of the earth and what it has carried, Lord of the devils and those whom they have misled, Lord of the winds and what they have whisked away, I ask You for the good of this town and the good of what its people possess. I seek refuge in You from the evil of this town and the evil of what its people possess.' [Sahih Muslim 1397]
