Source & Authentication
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to say when he commenced his prayer: Then he would say: (O Allah, Lord of Jibril, Mika'il, and Israfil, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, You are the judge between Your servants in that wherein they differ. Guide me to the truth about that which differs, by Your permission. Indeed, You guide whom You will to a straight path.) Then he would say: (O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure sustenance, and accepted deeds.) — Sahih Muslim 7:17
