اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and enrich me by Your grace, so that I may not need to ask from anyone other than You.
Allahumma akfini bihalalika 'an haramika, wa aghnini bifadlika 'amman siwak
When to Read
This powerful dua is perfect to recite when you are striving for advancement in your career or seeking a promotion. You can make it after your obligatory prayers, during the blessed times of the night when supplications are more likely to be accepted (like the last third of the night), or even in your workplace when you feel a sincere need for Allah's assistance and guidance in your professional endeavors.
How to Read
Recite this dua with sincere conviction, believing that Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) is the ultimate provider and controller of all affairs. It's beneficial to raise your hands in supplication, especially after salah, and to face the Qiblah. Maintain a state of purity (Wudu) if possible. Begin by praising Allah and sending blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, then make this specific dua. Remember to be persistent and patient, as Allah tests our faith through His timings.
Virtues & Benefits
This dua encapsulates a comprehensive plea for provision and self-sufficiency through lawful means. By asking Allah to suffice us with His halal provision, we are essentially seeking His protection from unlawful earnings and the potential spiritual and worldly troubles associated with them. Asking to be enriched by His grace emphasizes reliance solely on Him, fostering contentment and shielding us from the need to beg or be dependent on creation. This directly aids in securing blessings in our work, making it a means for advancement that is pleasing to Allah.
