It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'A guest brings provision and a guest departs, taking away the sins of his host.' Another version narrated: 'When one of you is invited to a meal, let him accept. If he wishes, he may eat, and if he wishes he may leave.' It was narrated from Anas that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'A guest brings provision and a guest departs, taking away the sins of his host.'
