Narrated Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was given milk mixed with water. He ﷺ took it, and when he had drunk, Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him: "I do not think he drank it except that he was given preference over us." The Prophet ﷺ said: "No Muslim drinks milk without Allah making his channels of nourishment full of faith, and he will be forbidden to drink it, and to be given to drink from the wells of Paradise, and he who gives it to drink to his brother, it is as if he has not drunk it, and he who does not give it to drink to him, it is as if he has drunk it." (Another version) He ﷺ said: "No one is given a portion of the Qur’an and then does not drink milk except that he drinks it on the Day of Resurrection with the faces of those who drink it not having the colour of milk, and he who gives it to drink to his brother, it is as if he has not drunk it, and he who does not give it to drink to him, it is as if he has drunk it. He ﷺ said: "O Allah, bless it for us and increase us from it. For he who drinks it, there is no thirst in it." He ﷺ said: "No one drinks milk but that Allah makes his channels of nourishment full of faith, and he will be forbidden to drink it, and to be given to drink from the wells of Paradise." He ﷺ said: "No one gives it to drink to his brother, but that it is as if he has not drunk it, and he who does not give it to drink to him, it is as if he has drunk it."
