Narrated Abu Umamah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'When any one of you eats an animal and then says: 'Al-hamdu lillahi hamdan kathiran tayyiban mubarakan fihi ghaira makfiyyin wa la mawadda'in wa la mustaghnan 'anhu Rabbana', it becomes a source of great reward for him.' (Sahih al-Bukhari 5409). Another narration adds: 'The angels hasten to record it for him.'
