All praise is due to Allah, [such] praise that is abundant, good, and blessed. [Praise that is] not insufficient, nor bid farewell, nor indispensable from our Lord.
Alhamdulillah hamdan katheeran tayyiban mubarakan feeh, ghaira makfiyyin wa la mawadda'in wa la mustaghnan 'anhu Rabbuna.

Narrated Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (ﷺ) if he ascended to the dining cloth, said: 'Alhamdulillah hamdan katheeran tayyiban mubarakan feeh, ghaira makfiyyin wa la mawadda'in wa la mustaghnan 'anhu Rabbuna.' (All praise is due to Allah, [such] praise that is abundant, good, and blessed. [Praise that is] not insufficient, nor bid farewell, nor indispensable from our Lord.) Another narration from Ibn Majah (3254) states the Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'Whoever eats a meal and then says: Alhamdulillah hamdan katheeran tayyiban mubarakan feeh, ghaira makfiyyin wa la mawadda'in wa la mustaghnan 'anhu Rabbuna, the angels would rush to write it and present it to Allah (SWT), and when He looks at it, He asks them: 'What is this?' They reply: 'O our Lord, Your slave said this praise.' Allah says: 'Be a witness that I am pleased with him.'
