اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيهِ وَأَطْعِمْنَا خَيْرًا مِنْهُ
O Allah, bless us in it and feed us something better than it.

It was narrated from 'Umar bin Abu Salamah that he was with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when he took hold of some dates. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Say Bismillah.' So he said Bismillah, and when he had eaten some, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'All the supplication will be answered for the servant as long as he does not start with sin or cutting ties of kinship.' Then a man came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah! I have been afflicted with hardship.' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'For me, the supplication of the Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him): 'My Lord! Verily, they have misled many of mankind. Then whoever follows me, then he is of me, and whoever disobeys me, then indeed You are Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.' (14:36) And the supplication of 'Isa (peace be upon him): 'Our Lord! Send us from the heaven a table set (with provisions) that there may be for us a feast from the first and the last of us and a sign from You, and (You) provide Us, You are the Best of the providers.' (5:114) And the supplication of the one who drinks 'at-Tharwa' (i.e. camel's milk) from among you, and he who meets his enemy and he says: 'O Allah, verily, We place You in their necks, and We seek refuge in You from their evil.' (recited from memory). And the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'There is no servant who says: 'O Allah, bless them in what You have provided them, and forgive them and have mercy upon them,' except that he will be joined to the throne of the Almighty, and the angels will supplicate for him.'
