Dua for When Anxiety Returns After Feeling Better

Anxiety & Distress
Hasan HadithMusnad Ahmad 23913

O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is enacted, and Your decision concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or taught to any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my anxieties.

Allahumma inni 'abduka, ibnu 'abdika, ibnu amatik, nasiyatii biyadika, madin fiyya hukmuka, 'adlun fiyya qada'uka, as'aluka bikulli ismin huwa laka, sammayta bihi nafsaka, aw 'allamtahu ahadan min khalqika, aw anzaltahu fi kitabbika, aw ista'tharta bihi fi 'ilmil-ghaibi 'indaka, an taj'alal-Qur'ana rabee'a qalbi, wa noora sadri, wa jalaa'a huzni, wa dhahaba hammi.
