O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness at the time of questioning by the angel, and I ask You for a pleasant life after death, and I ask You for the delight of looking at Your Face, and the longing to meet You, without any harm or misguidance. And I seek refuge in You from wronging others or being wronged, from transgressing or being transgressed against, from acquiring sin or losing reward. And I seek refuge in You from an evil return to my family and my property, and I seek refuge in You from the supplication of one whose child has died.
Allahumma inni as'alukath-thabata 'indal-malak, wa as'aluka halawatil-'ayshi ba'dal-mawt, wa as'aluka ladhdhatan-nadgari ila wajhik, wash-shawqa ila liqa'ik, ghayra dharrah wa la mudhillah. Wa a'udhu bika an adlima aw udhlama, aw a'tadiya aw yu'tada 'alayya, aw aksiba ithaman aw udi'a ajran. Wa a'udhu bika min su'il-manqalabi ila ahli wa mali, wa a'udhu bika min da'wathith-thukla.
