Dua for Remaining Calm When Your Authority is Challenged

Anger
Sahih HadithSahih Muslim 2713

O Allah, Lord of the heavens and the earth, Lord of all things, the One who splits the grain and the seed, the One who revealed the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran. I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything You are holding by its forelock. O Allah, You are the First, so there is nothing before You. You are the Last, so there is nothing after You. You are the Most Exalted, so there is nothing above You. You are the Most Hidden, so there is nothing closer than You. Grant me relief from debt and enrich me from poverty.

Allahumma Rabba as-samawati wal-ardi, Rabba kulli shay', faliqal-habbi wan-nawa, wa munzil at-Tawrati wal-Injeeli wal-Furqan, a'udhu bika min sharri kulli shay'in anta akhidhun binasiyatih. Allahumma anta al-Awwalu falaysa qablaka shay', wa anta al-Akhiru falaysa ba'daka shay', wa anta adh-Dhahiru falaysa fawqaka shay', wa anta al-Batinu falaysa duna ka shay'. Iqdi 'anni ad-dayna wa aghnini minal-faqr.

I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything You are holding by its forelock. O Allah, You are the First, so there is nothing before You. You are the Last, so there is nothing after You.
