اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and deeds accepted.
Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman nafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan
When to Read
This dua is specifically recommended to be recited after the Fajr (dawn) prayer. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this to his daughter Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) to recite every morning.
How to Read
Recite this dua sincerely after completing the Fajr prayer, while still seated in your prayer spot, before engaging in other activities. Focus on the meaning of each request: asking Allah for knowledge that benefits, provision that is pure and lawful, and deeds that are accepted by Him. It's a beautiful way to start your day with a focus on spiritual and worldly well-being.
Virtues & Benefits
Reciting this dua after Fajr is a powerful way to set the intention for your day. It encompasses seeking three essential things: beneficial knowledge that leads you closer to Allah, pure provision that sustains you lawfully, and most importantly, deeds that are accepted by Allah. Acceptance of deeds is crucial, as even good deeds are of no avail if not accepted by our Creator. This plea seeks Allah's mercy to make our efforts pleasing to Him.

Fatimah bint Qais (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'What keeps me from sitting down (after Fajr prayer) is what I heard from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about the prayer. I heard him say: 'O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and deeds accepted.' (He commanded me to say this every morning and evening).
