Dua of Gratitude for Food Provided Effortlessly

After Eating
Sahih HadithSunan Abi Dawud 5055

All praise is due to Allah, Who sufficed me and gave me drink, Who sheltered me, Who fed me and gave me drink, Who made me enjoy that which He provided. For how many is there whom you cannot find provision for?

Alhamdulillah alladhi kafani wa arwani, walladhi awani, walladhi at'amani wa saqani, walladhi amta'ani, fa kam mimman la tajidu lahu rizqa

Source & Authentication

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: When one of you eats food and then says: 'Al-hamdulillah alladhi kafani wa arwani, walladhi awani, walladhi at'amani wa saqani, walladhi amta'ani, fa kam mimman la tajidu lahu rizqa' (All praise is due to Allah, Who sufficed me and gave me drink, Who sheltered me, Who fed me and gave me drink, Who made me enjoy that which He provided. For how many is there whom you cannot find provision for?) – it is incumbent upon Allah to account him on the Day of Resurrection and He will cause him to enter Paradise.
