Source & Authentication

Narrated by Miqdam bin Ma'd Yakrib: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'A believer invites his guest to eat and drinks, and they eat and drink. Allah multiplies his provisions three times. A disbeliever invites his guest to eat and drinks, and they eat and drink. Allah withholds his provisions (from him) for three days. Then, if He wills, He gives him (provision). And the servant does not withhold something (from Allah) but that Allah gives him that which is better than it.' (It was narrated from him that he said): 'O Allah, feed those who fed me, and give drink to those who gave me drink.'
