Praise is to Allah Who sufficed me and gave me shelter. Praise is to Allah Who fed me and gave me drink. Praise is to Allah Who bestowed His favor upon me and made it abundant. I praise Him for what He has recompensed me. O Allah, O Most Generous, I ask You to give me, enrich me, suffice me, grant me well-being, honor me, and bless me in what You have provided for me. Make all of my affairs good, and turn away from me its evil, for indeed You have power over all things.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As (may Allah be pleased with them both): The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: If one of you eats and then says: 'Alhamdulillah alladhi kafani wa awani, walhamdulillah alladhi at'amani wa saqani, walhamdulillah alladhi manna 'alayya fa'afdal, wa ahmaduhu 'ala ma jazani. As'aluka Allahumma jawadu jawadu, litu'tini, wa tughnini, wa takfini, wa tu'afini, wa tu'izzuni, wa tubarik li fima razaqtani, wa taj'al amri kullahu khayran, wa tasrif 'anni sharrahu, innaka 'ala kulli shay'in qadir' (Praise is to Allah Who sufficed me and gave me shelter.
