Narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (ﷺ) visited Sa'd ibn 'Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him). Sa'd brought him bread and oil, and the Prophet (ﷺ) ate. Then he (ﷺ) said: > **Arabic:** أَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الأَبْرَارُ وَصَلَّتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ وَأَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ > > **Translation:** "May the virtuous eat your food, may the angels pray for you, and may the fasting break their fast with you." > > **Transliteration:** *Akala ta'āmakumul-abrāru, wa ṣallat 'alaikumul-malā'ikatu, wa afṭara 'indakumuṣ-ṣā'imūn.* — Sunan Abi Dawud 3854
