All praise is due to Allah, [praiseworthy] praise abundantly, purely, and blessedly. [We praise Him] without being self-sufficient, nor is He to be abandoned, nor is one ever free from need of Him, our Lord.

Narrated Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (ﷺ) if he was raised to (his) supplicating hands, he would not put them down until he had wiped his face with them. And if he was raised to (his) food, he would say: 'O Allah, make it abundant and bless it and grant us its sustenance by (giving us) its sustenance, for You are the Best of the Sustainers.' And if he was raised to drink (milk, etc.), he would say: 'O Allah, bless it for us and increase it for us, for we have no food and drink except from Allah.' And sometimes he (ﷺ) would bring him (i.e. a companion) food, and he would say: 'O Allah, bless for us what You have provided us, and forgive us, and have mercy upon us.' (Sahih Muslim 7179) - Note: While the hadith above shows a general dua for food and drink, the specific dua in this entry is also found in Sahih al-Bukhari.
